Software

I have developed the following software packages during the course of my Ph.D.

Parr-SR: The first parallel short sequence assembler for de novo assembly of gigabase genomes, written in C++ using STL and MPI.

MapMed: A java program to find median partial orders.

BucketMotifs: A STL-based distributed array processing library for high performance computing environments, inspired by MapReduce.

At the moment, we are making licensing decisions about the software I have worked on for my Ph.D. thesis. At some future date, the source, binaries, or some samples might become available for direct download. Contact aluru@iastate.edu with any inquiries.
